Apple Valley Teen Dajanaya Eddie Reported Missing, Police Seek Public Assistance
APPLE VALLEY — Dajanaya has safely returned home on her own. Police have expressed their gratitude to the public and media for helping share her information during the search. Authorities have not provided any updates or comments regarding the unidentified man the 15-year-old reportedly left with initially.
Original story (February 10): On February 9, 2023, 15-year-old Dajanaya Eddie left her group home located on Chief Joseph Road in the Town of Apple Valley around 1:30 p.m. She was seen walking away from the residence accompanied by an unidentified male.
Police say that Dajanaya does has a medical condition that requires medication. When she left the group home with the male figure, she didn’t taker her medication or her cell phone with her. Dajanaya was last seen wearing a her red shirt, jeans, and carrying a red blanket. An employee that works from the group home provided as much information as possible to police about the incident.
The AVPD say that Dajanaya’s whereabouts are unknown at this time and she has been deemed a “Critical Missing Juvenile.“
Dajanaya is described as a black female juvenile, 5’02”, 120 lbs. with blondish hair and brown eyes.
