Monday Morning Mayor – City of Hesperia 2/22/21

My name is Cameron Gregg Mayor for the City of Hesperia. As we progress through 2021, Hesperia has a lot of great projects and initiatives in the works. One such project is the Ranchero widening project set to begin this summer, although traffic will more than likely be a headache for some, this widening project will better mitigate traffic congestion once completed.

Looking at initiatives, the city council recently adopted a rental ordnance aimed at cultivating better quality of living within our community. Another initiative we are proud to announce is the COVID-19 City of Hesperia Emergency Housing and Utility Assistance Program (EHUAP) will provide emergency rental, mortgage, and utility assistance grants, up to $6,000, to income-eligible households economically impacted during the COVID-19 pandemic through job loss, furlough or reduction in hours or pay, residing in the City of Hesperia.
