The High Desert has another reason to head out to the Sheriff's Rodeo this year! American Idol winner, Chayce Beckham,  has been expected to perform the Star Spangled Banner this Saturday at the rodeo.

The event brings a better understanding of the relationship between Law Enforcement and the public. Proceeds benefit the Sheriff’s Posse, a volunteer public service organization, the Boy and Girl Scouts or America, Challenged Children’s Rodeo, Children’s Fund, the 4H Club of San Bernardino, the Yucaipa Equestrian Center, the California State Horseman’s Association, Loma Linda University Hospital for breast cancer research Man Up Crusade – bringing awareness to Domestic Violence, Cannonball Memorial Run and several youth service clubs. It's been a quick minute since we last caught up with Beckham since Idol. We wanted to know what the High Desert native has been up to since moving to Nashville. Here's our exclusive interview:
