Developing details this morning as a Friday night shooting at the Mall of Victor Valley has left one man dead and has sent a child and another person to the hospital. 

Reports from officials have said that one of the shooting victims was that of an 8-year-old child who had been sent to Loma Linda University Health.

The shooting happened just outside of the mall's Red Robin restaurant.

One woman says, "we were leaving Macy's and the police were doing 100 mph down Amargosa. It was insane."

Police in Victorville are still investigating the Friday night shooting. Initial reports from law enforcement said an adult and a minor were shot and had been transported for medical treatment.

Currently, authorities have not released any information on who they think a possible suspect is. The investigation is ongoing and no further information is available at this time.
