8:00PM - CAL FIRE is reporting that 250 acres have burned and the fire is now at 30% containment.
3:30PM - CAL FIRE is reporting that the wildfire has reached 150 acres and is considered a critical rate of spread, structures remain threatened. 30+ ground resources and 8 air resources assigned. 0% containment.
3:00PM - Name of wildfire has been updated to "Farm Fire" per emergency crews. Fire is still burning west of Hesperia on SB side of Interstate 15. No update on homes that were in the way of the fury.
2:30PM - Additional support crews have arrived on scene, including a bulldozer.
2:16PM - Update - Fire has been hashtagged #farminc in Hesperia. According to reports from CALFIRE more than 100 acres have burned. Large additional air and ground resource order. Winds are blowing at more than 30 mph.
2:05PM - Air support has arrived on scene. US Forestry and CAL Fire are also on scene fighting the fire. Homes do appear to be immediately threatened.
1:44PM - Update from SBC Fire says it's a vegetation Fire, area of Caliente & Ranchero. BC124 is “Farm” IC requesting 2nd Alarm. Crews are sending a full response due to the existing threat conditions.
