On Tuesday, October 12, 2021, Deputy Vallejo from the Apple Valley Police Department responded to a report of a female juvenile victim who disclosed she was sexually abused. The suspect was identified as Timothy Ruscigno. Following an extensive investigation, Detective Hylin discovered evidence Timothy Ruscigno committed the crime of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14.

Police would not disclose what type of evidence or where the suspect was picked  up.  

Ruscigno was arrested and booked into the High Desert Detention Center for violation of PC 288(a), lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14, and is being held in lieu of $250,000 bail. The San Bernardino County District Attorney's office tells HDdailynews.com that Ruscigno's court date is October 15, 2021.
